Treatment time varies according to complexity, with some cases taking as little as three months, and most taking 6-12 months.

2. How much do Pristine Clear Aligners cost?

Pristine Clear Aligners start from £699 for simple cases.

This starting option includes up to three aligner stages for the upper and lower teeth. More complex cases requiring additional aligners are priced according to the treatment required.

3. What happens during an aligner consultation?

Our complimentary aligner consultation is approximately 20 minutes.

During your appointment, we can take a digital intraoral scan and assess your teeth. Your treatment can then be planned with our orthodontic team.

We will explain the available options and show you your proposed treatment plan before you decide whether to proceed.

4. Can I see what my smile could look like before treatment?

Yes. Where appropriate, we can provide a digital smile simulation so you can see the proposed changes before committing to treatment.

We believe you should understand where your treatment is heading before you make your decision.

5. How long does clear aligner treatment take?

Treatment typically takes around 6–18 months, depending on the complexity of your case and how consistently you wear your aligners.

Your personalised treatment plan will show you the expected treatment duration before you proceed.

6. How long do I need to wear my aligners each day?

We generally recommend wearing your aligners for around 20–22 hours per day.

The more consistently you wear them as instructed, the more predictable your treatment journey is likely to be.

7. Can I eat while wearing clear aligners?

No. Your aligners should normally be removed when eating.

While wearing your aligners, you should stick to clear liquids such as water. Remove the aligners when drinking anything else or when eating.

8. Can I have clear aligners if I have fillings, crowns, veneers or implants?

In many cases, yes.

Having existing dental work does not automatically prevent you from having clear aligner treatment. However, every case is different, and your dentist or orthodontic team will assess whether aligners are suitable for you.

If you have dental implants, it is important to understand that implants cannot be moved with orthodontic treatment. Your treatment plan will take their position into account.

9. Do you offer clear aligners for everyone?

Our Pristine Clear Aligners are currently offered to patients aged 18 and over.

Suitability depends on your individual teeth, gums, bite and treatment goals, so a consultation is required before treatment can be recommended.

10. What happens if I lose or damage an aligner?

Replacement aligners can be provided where appropriate. The current replacement fee is £80 per aligner.

11. Do I need retainers after clear aligner treatment?

Yes, retention is an important part of maintaining your new smile.

We provide retainers following aligner treatment, with the specific retainer arrangement depending on your treatment plan and the offer available at the time.

12. Can I have whitening after my aligner treatment?

Teeth whitening may be available after aligner treatment, depending on your treatment plan and any current treatment offers.

A £15 refundable deposit is required to secure the appointment. This is refunded if you decide not to proceed, or put towards your treatment if you do.
