If you’ve been dreaming of a straighter, more even-looking smile or are concerned by overlapping, crooked teeth, gaps between teeth, or a misaligned smile, then you might also have been thinking about clear aligners.
Clear aligners offer a more subtle-looking and much more comfortable and flexible experience than traditional fixed braces. Designed to be practically invisible, they are also removable, so you can take them out to eat, drink, and brush your teeth.
Because of this, they have become increasingly popular with patients who want a straighter smile, but don’t want to have to live with fixed, metal braces for months on end.
Our bespoke brand, Pristine Clear Aligners, works in much the same way as any other aligner brand, but we’re able to offer a streamlined treatment plan and more predictable outcomes with fewer refinements.
This is because all treatment plans are created by an orthodontic surgeon here at Pristine Dental Group, alongside cutting-edge computing programs, so we’re able to offer a true picture of your treatment journey from the very beginning.
Treatment time varies according to complexity, with some cases taking as little as three months, and most taking 6-12 months.
We’ll be able to give you an accurate idea of your own treatment time at your initial consultation, when we’ll create a personalised plan just for you. We’ll also be able to show you exactly what your new smile will look like with a 3D simulation.

Crowded teeth is a condition where you do not have enough room for your teeth to fit normally. This can cause plaque or tartar and other harmful bacteria to build up as it is harder for you to brush and floss well.
Gaps between teeth is when there is extra space between two or more of your teeth. This can cause pockets between your teeth and gums and can cause food to get stuck making them tender and sore. This might also lead to gum disease.
An Open bite is when your upper and lower teeth don't touch when you close your mouth. An open bite can make it hard for you to chew or difficult to bite even the most common of food like apples.
An underbite is when you close your mouth and your lower front teeth are in front of your upper teeth. In many cases, this is actually a problem with your lower jaw being too far forward. An underbite can make it hard to chew properly and speak clearly, and it might cause your teeth to wear down more quickly.
An overbite is when your upper front teeth overlap with your lower front teeth. Most people have at least a little overbite. When your overbite is too large, your doctor might tell you you have a deep bite. This can cause problems, from your teeth wearing down to pain in your jaw.
A crossbite is when you close your mouth and yet some of your upper teeth are sitting inside your lower teeth rather than on the outside. A crossbite can make your teeth wear down or chip. It can also make your gums start to recede or make little notches above your gum line. This kind of damage can lead to painful gum problems or even bone loss.
Pristine Clear Aligners are a discreet orthodontic treatment designed to gradually move your teeth into a more balanced and aligned position using a series of clear, removable aligners.
Your treatment is planned around your individual smile and orthodontic needs.
Pristine Clear Aligners start from £699 for simple cases.
This starting option includes up to three aligner stages for the upper and lower teeth. More complex cases requiring additional aligners are priced according to the treatment required.
For current pricing and available packages, please refer to our latest fee guide.
Our complimentary aligner consultation is approximately 20 minutes.
During your appointment, we can take a digital intraoral scan and assess your teeth. Your treatment can then be planned with our orthodontic team.
We will explain the available options and show you your proposed treatment plan before you decide whether to proceed.
Yes. Where appropriate, we can provide a digital smile simulation so you can see the proposed changes before committing to treatment.
We believe you should understand where your treatment is heading before you make your decision.
Treatment typically takes around 6–18 months, depending on the complexity of your case and how consistently you wear your aligners.
Your personalised treatment plan will show you the expected treatment duration before you proceed.
We generally recommend wearing your aligners for around 20–22 hours per day.
The more consistently you wear them as instructed, the more predictable your treatment journey is likely to be.
No. Your aligners should normally be removed when eating.
While wearing your aligners, you should stick to clear liquids such as water. Remove the aligners when drinking anything else or when eating.
In many cases, yes.
Having existing dental work does not automatically prevent you from having clear aligner treatment. However, every case is different, and your dentist or orthodontic team will assess whether aligners are suitable for you.
If you have dental implants, it is important to understand that implants cannot be moved with orthodontic treatment. Your treatment plan will take their position into account.
Our Pristine Clear Aligners are currently offered to patients aged 18 and over.
Suitability depends on your individual teeth, gums, bite and treatment goals, so a consultation is required before treatment can be recommended.
Replacement aligners can be provided where appropriate. The current replacement fee is £80 per aligner.
Yes, retention is an important part of maintaining your new smile.
We provide retainers following aligner treatment, with the specific retainer arrangement depending on your treatment plan and the offer available at the time.

Our team can discuss this with you when planning your smile journey.
