Pterygoid Implants

For complex dental implant treatments in North West London, our team at Pristine Dental Group can provide the skills and knowledge necessary.

In cases where patients would benefit from dental implants in the upper jaw, especially towards the back of the mouth, but do not have the bone health necessary to support traditional implants, we can use pterygoid implants instead.

These implants have been designed and developed so that we can treat patients without having to carry out extensive bone grafting, which often includes multiple treatments and appointments, in order to then place implants. With pterygoid implants, we will not need to perform a bone graft, and instead the implants are placed further back in the upper jaw.

I had a dental clean, while the hygienist was working on me I already knew I was going to come back for another clean. Hygienist recommended coming back after 6 months I will definitely will be back. The atmosphere is good, calm and clean. They accommodated me even though I was running a bit late. Nice interior and smells good too. They had a TV on the ceiling too 😅 which I thought was really helpful for distraction.
