Zygomatic implants are a special type of implant designed to treat and replace teeth in the upper jaw where significant bone loss has occurred.
The implants themselves are of a longer design, so that they can be implanted into the cheekbone, also known as the zygoma, rather than the jawbone. They are placed in one appointment, reducing the need for multiple treatments and appointments as with bone grafts.
